Vijay Eswaran is a Malaysian business man who is the founder and the CEO of Qnet. The company has its base in Hong Kong and operates a direct selling business through ecommerce. It also uses multi level marketing in its various businesses. Eswaran is early life involved moving several times but he later attended top universities in the United Kingdom and the United States.

He is a graduate from the London School of Economics and has an MBA from the Southern Illinois University. Eswaran also holds a CIMA professional certificate. He started from humble beginnings working as a taxi driver in London and as construction site worker in Belgium. Those were his beginnings in contrast with the successful person he is today. Born in Penang, Malaysia, an island off of the western coast of the peninsula, Vijay eventually went on to receive his primary college education in England with the help of his parents sending him to London.

Before starting Qnet in 1998, Eswaran had worked in world leading organizations such as IBM that had high standards. He worked in the United States, United Kingdom and Australia in addition to Canada before moving back to Asia in 1990. Eswaran had the determination and desire of not being employed forever. This burning desire led to the creation of Qnet.

Being at the helm of Qnet leadership, Eswaran has guided the company to become one of the leading in the segment of direct selling. Initially operating from Hong Kong, the company currently operates in more than 100 countries. This makes it one of the leading companies in the world currently. Apart from his business acumen, Eswaran is an exceptional motivation speaker, prolific author, and philanthropist.

Eswaran is a respected speaker who has given speeches around the world on various matters that vary from business to spirituality. He is a regular panelist of the World Economic Forum and the Commonwealth Business Forum where he gets regular invitations to. Eswaran also conducts training programs for the youth and emerging entrepreneurs.
He has also authored a number of books that include 18 Stepping Stones, In the Sphere of Silence, In the Thinking Zone and On the Wings of Thought.
